Kawasaki at the MCN London Show

After one of the harshest winters in recent memory, bikers can now come out of hibernation and once more celebrate all things two wheeled. As a kick start to the season, the MCN London Motorcycle Show is a great way of getting back into bikes.

For Kawasaki it’s an ideal opportunity to showcase their brand new 2010 range including a stunning five new models – a welcome ray of sunshine in these gloomy winter days.

City bikes are a strong theme on the show stand this year. Kawasaki will display their Ninja 250R and the top selling trail bike in the UK, the KLX250 alongside the ER-6f, ER-6n, Z750 and ZX-6R, the last four now being available on Kawasaki’s Go Green Zero promotion offering a massive Three Years 0% Finance and a minimum deposit of just £99. Low rate finance options are being offered on other bikes in the Kawasaki range too under the Go Green Low banner and even a personal contract plan called Go Green Feelgood for cruiser machines and other selected bikes.

Moving up the range, the much admired new Z1000 will be displayed and also the recently launched Versys, a machine that is as agile on city streets as in mountain passes.

Naturally the Ninja ZX-10R will be there along with Ben Wilson’s race winning Gearlink Kawasaki Supersport bike. And in terms of sheer grunt and ability to cover huge distances, the 200+ horsepower ZZR1400 will be on display alongside the 2010 1400GTR which features advanced traction control, linked brakes and even an innovative selectable eco fuel mode for the new season. Like many other bikes in the Kawasaki range, ZZR and GTR riders will find their wanderlust assuaged this year by Kawasaki Tours, a new “complete package” touring approach starting with an escorted tour of the Loire Valley in early May.

New riders, and those returning to two wheels, are catered for admirably with two brand new models focused at the entry level of the market and ideal for those attracted to two wheels by the much publicised GetOn campaign.

The KLX125 is off-road styled and has the presence of a larger bike and all the fun and manoeuvrability of a small capacity machine. Sharing features such as an electric starter, advanced fuel injection and race style digital instruments, the new D-TRACKER 125 is a compact SuperMoto styled bike ready to win the hearts of countless young riders and wannabes.

In addition to a stand bursting with new bikes, Kawasaki will also have a clothing shop alongside the new machinery ready to supply Kawasaki genuine clothing to eager fans across the four days of the show.

So if you want to blow the biking cobwebs away make tracks for the MCN London Motorcycle Show at Excel in London’s Docklands between 4 and 7 January. For more information go to www.londonmotorcycleshow.com and www.geton.co.uk
